HEY EVERYBODY: After blizzards in April, I think Spring has finally arrived in Chicago. I'm writing this while enjoying a perfect 70 degree day, sitting on my deck watching this wonderful city emerge from it's winter cocoon. Everyone is out and about today. The shops and sidewalk cafes are filled with people enjoying our new found Spring weather.
Alright, enough of that!!!
I really want to thank all of the people who have been writing to me at info@stevecole.net to let me know how much they have enjoyed my new CD - TRUE, as well as the shows that we have been doing this year. It means a great deal to me when someone takes the time to send a note with some kind words, questions, or even suggestions. Please keep the correspondence coming! |

WHAT'S NEW Steve Cole reunited with Brian Culbertson
Brian and I reunite this summer for a long awaited reunion tour! Check out the tour schedule to see when we'll be in your city. |
WHAT'S NEW ON MY WEBSITE For those of you who haven't checked out my website recently, it's been completely redone. Check the WEBSITE often for the most up to date tour schedule and news. The MEDIA section of the website has been upated with new photos, as well as new video and podcasts. I also have a BLOG that I update regularly with new music, video, and other random musings. |

WHAT'S UP WITH THE SAX PACK
As some of you may have heard, Jeff Kashiwa, Kim Waters and I (AKA The Sax Pack) have a yearly retreat before starting out each touring season. We call this event the Sax Pack Summit. During the summit the boys and I get together to write original songs exclusively for the Sax Pack shows. Normally between food and cocktails, we manage to come up with some great material. Last year the summit was held in Austin Texas. We'd like to thank all of the kind people of Austin for putting up with us. We'd also like to apologize to the people in the rooms adjacent to our hotel suites who tolerated the impromptu concert/party that we threw around 3am one night.
This year, the Sax Pack Summit will take place in Denver! We'd like to apologize in advance to the people of Denver for any noise, strange behavior, etc... The summit will culminate on May 31st with a special concert at Denver's finest jazz club, Jazz at Jack's where Kim and I will participate in the celebration of the release of Jeff Kashiwa's new CD. |

LATEST BLOG ENTRY |
A few years ago, I had the privilege to perform several shows in London for a very special Valentines Day concert. I've recently obtained a very high quality recording of one of those shows, and I'm really excited to be able to share it with all of you. My band for those shows was comprised of some world class musicians from the UK. On keyboards, Graham Harvey (Incognito), on Drums, Geoff Dunn (Van Morrison), on Bass, Julian Crampton (Incognito), and on Guitar, Dave Ital.
I hope you all enjoy listening to the show, and please check my blog often as I intend to post as many live shows as possible in the future.Click Here To Listen |

WHAT I'M READING, WATCHING & LISTENING TO |
The Jansen Directive: Robert Ludlum - I have to admit, I'm a sucker for spy novels. They make great airplane reading, and it's a welcome departure from reality.
The Sopranos: HBO - Counting down the episodes like so many other Sopranos fans.
Rodrigo y Gabriella - I recently saw Rodrigo y Gabriella in concert at the NARM convention in Chicago and was absolutely blown away. A guitar duo from Mexico that has been living in Ireland. Latin meets Classical meets Metal... Very cool!!! |
